In this video you will learn about why it is so important to teach dogs bite inhibition and also how to detect the warning signs of a dog bite or attack.

If someone says that a dog bit or attacked with no warning signs, well that simply isn’t true.

Dog bites and attacks are actually very very predictable, and very very avoidable when you know what to look for.

When something is happening to our dog or around our dog that is making them uncomfortable, they will give off warning signs.

Because we are humans who don’t naturally understand dog body language, it is very easy to miss these warning signs.

If we miss the warning signs, and continue to do what ever it is that the dog doesn’t like, and the dog bites us, then it is OUR FAULT!

It is not fair to get mad or angry at a dog for biting when they were asking us to stop and we didn’t.

Below is what I call the dog aggression ladder, and it shows you the build up of signs that a dog will give that eventually leads to a bite.

Now keep in mind that you won’t necessarily see every single warning sign or action on this ladder before a bite occurs, but you will always at minimum see at least one, and that is your cue to identify what is bothering your dog and remedy the situation.

When you see your dog displaying the behaviors on this chart, here is what they would say to you if they could speak english.

” Stop it! “
” I don’t like what your doing to me! “
” Leave me alone! “
” I’m scared! “

Idk man, my friends have a shepherd and she's a wildcard (owner fault, she was never really socialized much as a puppy). Could be just sitting there, she could be laying by your feet, then in half a second she's barking at you and trying to snap. Even if you don't even look at her. No real warning signs, just a very big dog with very large teeth who has very high reactivity.

Will puppies learn bite inhibition from playing with other dogs as well? We just got a puppy and she plays with our older dog and over the course of a week I have noticed the play style evolving. Earlier on there was more aggressive mouth play which has decreased and turned into more body and wrestling.

This has got to be some joke

That wasnt even remotely a "bite"

The dog just pulled your hand off with his jaw.

Try giving your dog a bone and then try to snatch it from him, then you will see a real "bite"

Also saying dogs NEVER bite without warning etc is a fucking idiotic statement.

Plenty of people have, can, and will be bitten by a dog with no warning what-so-ever.

Theres people who have even been attacked by their own dogs.

This channel and video is ass

The dog breeds that most ppl wouldn't think are that "strong" when biting are an English Bulldog & Jack Russell Terriers I've had both breeds for the last 15years and every English Bulldog & JRT I've had is able to bite a frisbee, rope, chew toy & U can literally pick up the dog while he or she is holding onto the object especially the English Bulldogs he's always tearing up basketballs, footballs, & even the KONG tennis balls don't stand a chance with him lol. But I've never ever had any of my English Bulldogs or JRTs bite or snap at a stranger or at me in a serious manner yes they both play like u said they have soft jaw & they do control they're jaws with myself & family & friends but they won't even soft play bite someone unless you're playing with them and u know that they will play bite but even afterwards they'll lick ur hands when they were in their mouths. My JRTs & English Bulldogs are the most protective and loyal dogs ever they're nice when ppl ask to pet them but if ppl walk up to the car or myself and don't ask and stick their hand out they will growl & bark UNLESS your a kid BC they love kids and know kids will never hurt them or me or my family but an adult they seem to know "hey this guy is bigger like our dad he could be a up to no good lets bark & growl if he approaches fast & tries to pet us.

When I'm punishing my dog she does the lip thing and growls. I suggest anyone do what I do, grab them by the collar, pull them up so they stand on their back legs and slap the ever living shit out of them multiple times until your hand throbs then grab them by their ass and literally throw them outside for the day. I'm the human, I'm the boss bitch.

What if a dog wants to bite you just because you're walking? What if he follows you and breathes on your leg while growling and barking? Can I kick him then?
